If we could stop the happiness time don't let it move, we wouldn't know the sad part which is the best part of life to learn!! Enjoy the moment of what we have for today before tomorrow comes because it might gone!
I live in St Leonards, which is just a part of Hastings. It's about an hour drive away from London, though by train it takes between 1.5; 2hrs if the train stops at all the little stations.
My middle son plans to visit my parents in finland this christmas and he wants me to go with him. Only next month is quite expensive and I haven't got the time or money. I've been to a Chinese massage for my back (inflammed soft tissue), today with aqupuncture and cupping, and she wants to do at least 7 treatments at £45 each - + 28 quid for medicine! She tried to flog me "better quality" tablets for £35 (as well as "pseudo-ginseng") but I think even the cheapest ones are a bit steep at £10/pw. I really cannot afford a private healthcare but I won't get any help from my GP. I would love to go to Finland for christmas though, there is a good chance of snow by then; the dark evenings really bring the magic of fairy lights against the snow. It would also be nice to see my brother and his new house... I'm not any good at skiing any more, even if I could borrow some skis but I would love to make at least one snowman. And I love tobogganing. :)
By the way, have you tried ice skating yet? There is a rink near Science Museum. I kind of wanted to have a go but I had wrong clothes on, having been at my son's university interview/open day. I found it actually quite interesting, I didn't realise there are so many different Earth Science courses.
